We are a church that loves the Lord, His word, and one another deeply. Check out what we believe and use the next steps page if you’d like to meet a pastor to discuss these things.
Welcome to Vintage Faith Church — a place where you can be found by Christ and experience a genuine and welcoming community. We gather at 9 and 10:45am every Sunday to worship the Triune God, hear the Word preached, and take the Lord’s Supper together. You are welcome to join us!
Yes! Vintage deeply cares about families and we believe children are a gift from the Lord! We have nursery for children ages 0-2, and Sunday School is offered during the service for ages 3-5.
We will sing together with all children present and then, if you would like, you may drop off kids before the sermon during the greeting time. We also believe children are a part of the church, and we love to have kids upstairs during the sermon if you desire to worship together as a family!
👉 All of our volunteers helping with children are required to go through a program called MinistrySafe.
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
God's Word is a firm foundation that every Christian should build their lives on. It is unaffected by the shifting cultural tide and reveals to us both who we are, and who God is. Because of this, we preach the Bible on Sunday mornings and strive to make the main point of the text the main point of the sermon.
Jesus is our only hope in life and death. He has fully paid for all our sins. Because of this, we seek to exalt Him in every aspect of our lives, especially on Sundays through Christ-exalting preaching and singing. We avoid music that is focused primarily on stirring up emotion rather than on truth.
The local church is more than a place to hear a sermon on Sunday mornings. It is the temple of God, the bride of Christ, the spiritual family of believers, and the demonstration of God's glory to the world. Because of this, we value this community, love each other genuinely, and are often gathering together throughout the week.
We believe in courageously proclaiming the truth of God's Word to a lost culture in every area: life begins at conception, God made us male and female, and Christ is the only way of salvation. Yet, in light of all that He has done for us, we proclaim these truths with a Spirit of humility and good cheer.
Kansas State University is a vibrant and fruitful mission field that we devote considerable resources to reaching.
Strong families are the foundation for strong churches. Therefore we make it a priority to equip members and pastors in building their marriages and families. We encourage married couples to have children and are dedicated to raising them in Christ, with a biblical worldview, looking forward to the day when we send them out to build Christ's kingdom.
We gladly acknowledge that we stand on the shoulders of Christians that have come before us; that we have received the faith from them, and are continuing to build the same church that our forefathers gave their lives up for.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
The basis of our beliefs, stated in this document, is the Bible, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. It was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written without error in the original manuscripts and accurately maintained in subsequent translations. It is the supreme and final authority in faith and life in every age.

There is but one God, infinite in power, wisdom, justice, goodness, and love. The Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit–each of whom possesses all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.

God created man in His own image, and man as he was originally created, was innocent before God. But man chose to sin by disobeying God, and therefore was alienated from his Creator and came under divine condemnation. Thus all human beings are born with a corrupted nature and without spiritual life and are totally incapable of pleasing God in and of themselves.

God the Father, by His own choice and out of love for sinful men and women, sent Jesus Christ into the world to reconcile sinners to Himself. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is God in the flesh, both true God and true man. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life and voluntarily suffered and died as our substitute to pay the penalty for our sins, thus satisfying God’s justice and accomplishing salvation for all those who trust in Him alone. He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died. He bodily ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, the only mediator between God and man, makes intercession for His own. He will return to earth personally, visibly, and bodily to judge all men.

Men and women are freed from the penalty for their sins not as a result, in whole or in part, of their own works, goodness, or religious ceremony, but by the undeserved favor of God alone. God declares righteous all who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation. Faith is trust and dependence on God and His promises. Faith is the opposite of self-reliance, rather it is the reliance on God’s free grace through Christ, and on the truth that God rewards those who seek him. Faith is not a work, but genuine faith always produces good deeds.

The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ, to convict men and women of their sins, and to impart new life to all who place their faith in Christ. He indwells believers from the moment of spiritual birth, seals them until the day of redemption, and empowers them to live a life pleasing to God.

At physical death, the believer enters into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his or her body to everlasting glory and blessing. At physical death, the unbeliever enters into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his or her body to everlasting suffering, judgment, and condemnation.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two symbols given by God and instituted by Christ that are to be practiced by the body of Christ (the church). They are visible signs symbolizing what Christ has done for us and what is true about us because of Jesus’ death and resurrection. While baptism and the Lord’s Supper are essential to the Christian life, neither play any role in atoning for our sin.

Jesus Christ is the head of his body called the Church. All true believers make up the church worldwide and should assemble together in local churches for worship, prayer, fellowship, and teaching, in order to grow in their love for God and one another, and ultimately to be conformed to the image of Christ.

The term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in an exclusive union, for life, as delineated in Scripture. Marriage uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church in the joy, mutual service, and glad submission of a healthy marriage. God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

We believe that all human life is created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally disabled, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life as instructed by scripture.

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

The church stands on the shoulders of faithful Christians that have defended the truth from error for the last 2,000 years. We acknowledge this, and gratefully find ourselves in agreement with the saints that came before us and penned the New Hampshire Confession of Faith.
